We’ve been experimenting with alterations to maximize the range we can get out of the 14.1oz propane tanks. Once finalized this will be an optional add-on you can add to our Not A Flamethrower replica - in ideal conditions it will average between 10-15 feet. Adding on the upcoming Proton Pack to run a 10lb tank, the Super Scorcher Not A Flamethrower can reach 20+ feet.

As always when choosing a flamethrower, there is no right answer, only the right tool for the right job! It is about balancing range, run time, and portability. Pump based gasoline flamethrowers are portable and have range, but have very limited run time. Backpack pressurized gasoline flamethrowers have significantly more range, but at the cost of portability and run time. Propane based torches will have less range but run significantly longer with portability.
